Raw Powerlifter and amateur MMA fighter Pete Rubish is back on the grind with a new focus for powerlifting after competing in 220 class, although it appears he was trying to squeeze into the 198 weight class after cutting so much weight. Rubish intends on returning and surpassing his former PRs in either the 220 or the 242 weightclass and has been gaining strength quickly as his bodyweight is slowly rising. Pete plans to compete again after his next MMA fight.

CAPO Nationals 2013 This Weekend
The 2013 CAPO Nationals "Hobart" is kicking off this weekend in Australia at the Derwent Entertainment Center, August 10th and 11th.
Many notable powerlifters will be in attendance, including Brandon Lilly, Eric Lilliebridge, Sam Byrd, and Boris Sheiko.
